Specifications
On the water
Due to the unique attributes (such as not becoming mouldy and being water permeable), Ventisit is an ideal seat cushion for on a boat. The cushions can stay outside all season and can even be stored when wet. After a rain shower you can quickly sit on a dry seat again.
Always cool and dry
Excessive perspiration even with the slightest effort is a thing of the past with Ventisit. As a result of Ventisit’s open structure, an air layer is formed between you and the seat. You are literally lifted 2 of 3 cm off your seat. You couldn’t wish for a better ventilation. To ensure that the ventilation is optimal, it is essential not to close off the sides with covers and/or clothes.
Securing your cushion
Ventisit is firm and stable on nearly all sorts of surface due to the anti-slip coating on the underside. The cushion does not need to be further secured on most surfaces. If required you can easily secure your Ventisit with plastic tie wraps or nylon straps (art nr 9006, 9007, 9008). Ventisit cushions can be delivered on request with a Velcro attachment on the underside (as are standardly used on the recumbent bicycle cushions). Please contact us to find out about possibilities.

For those who enjoy sport
A Ventisit cushion ensures good ventilation during sporting activities and combats excessive perspiration. It also enhances your comfort while participating in a sport that requires you to be in either a sitting or lying position. Ventisit cushions are available for canoeing, kayaking, land yachts or backpacking. They are easy to take with you on survival trips, ultra races, on world trips and many other activities.
Level of comfort
You always sit comfortably and firmly on a Ventisit cushion. The comfort is determined by the thickness of the cushion and the type of surface. Ventisit cushions are made from a three dimensional knitted polyester yarn. The resulting open structure provides an optimal ventilation with a clearly evident yet not overly soft suspension. Available in two variations: Comfort (3 cm thickness) and Classic (2 cm thickness). Ventisit can feel a little rough against bare skin.
Years of pleasure
Ventisit seat cushions are hard wearing, do not absorb moisture or go mouldy, are UV resistant, odor free, color fast (only available in black). The cushion is simple to clean and still looks good even after years of intensive use. A Ventisit cushion generally requires no maintenance. Dirt can be removed by shaking out the cushion or if necessary rinsing it with water (hose) or with a pressure sprayer. You can also wash them (hand or machine up to 40°C ) but this is really not necessary.
